Tour Qoyllority 5D/4N

Qoyllority is a Quechua word meaning bright star of snow or snow. The people of this zone are also a stream of Taytacha Qoylloriti (Mr. Snow replacement). This old religious procession only practiced by the inhabitants of the big Andes. Every year, days before celebration of Corpus Christi, every small village or clan send a delegation with colorful dancers and “pabluchas” to the Chapel of the Lord Qoylloriti. This is the beginning of the Sinakara mountain in the village of Mawayany, at 4600 meters above sea level. The pabluchas represented alpacas and are intermediaries between the Lord of Qoylloriti and his men.
